Larry Johnson Is Checking Resumes
October 25, 2009 by Mike · Leave a Comment

After suffering another nail-biting loss to the San Diego Chargers, 37-7 (it was closer than the score indicates. No, not really) Kansas City Chiefs star running back, Larry Johnson, wait. This isn’t 2006. Sorry. Let me start this over. Kansas City Chiefs driving-killing and fantasy-killing running back, Larry Johnson is starting to question the resume of a few of his coaches. Namely, the head coach, Todd Haley. The man who signed a 5-year $45 Million Dollar contract in 2007 , Tweeted after the game:
My father 3 or 4 state champs in Maryland. 3 or 4 1st rd picks Penn State. . Not including son!!! (Editor’s Note: I may not have a Master’s in English, but this doesn’t look grammatically correct to me. I may be wrong.)
My father played for the coach from “rememeber the titans”. Our coach played golf. My father played for redskins briefley. Our coach. Nuthn
my father got more creditentials than most of these pro coaches…..google my father!!!!!!!

Pats Sign Lee Bodden
March 11, 2009 by SOS · Leave a Comment

In dire need of an upgrade the Pats have signed Lee Bodden, who played with the Lions last year and the Browns previous to that. In addition to Bodden, the Pats signed former Redskin Shawn Springs last week. The Pats now have some depth at CB going into the 09 season with Bodden, Springs, Ellis Hobbs, Brenden Merriweather, Jonathan Wilhite & Terrence Wheatley. A position of weakness now might be a position of strength.
T.O. to the Bills
March 8, 2009 by SOS · Leave a Comment

This signing actually surprised me, I think it is a good move for Buffalo because they get a Hall of Fame WR who needs to be on his best behavior to get another contract after the season. (Think Randy Moss in ’08). The Bills on paper should have a pretty good Offense next year if Trent Edwards can take the next step. They have a solid O-Line, a pretty good WR trio with Owens, Lee Evans & Roscoe Parrish, plus the combo of Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson in the backfield give them a good running game. If Buffalo can improve some on Defense and not have a coach that tightens up at the end of every game they can compete in the AFC east.
