Women’s World Long Drive Championship Winner Is ? A Man ?

The picture shown above is of 55-year-old bartender Lana Lawless. Who just this week won the Women’s World Long Drive Championship, reports Golf Week. Only problem is that Lawless used to be a 245-pound Male, SWAT cop. So you can see there might be a bit of an issue over this. But not in the mind of Lawless, who says “I am a woman, “I’ve lost muscle mass. I don’t have big guns” (you think she tucks it under, or had it chopped off ?). Yeah, and I’m hung like Wesley Pipes. If you’re wondering with the winning distance of the drive was, it was 254-yards into 40-mph winds. Lawless claims if she’s downwind ( oh man, that’s a softball, right there) she can hit the ball almost 335-yards. Yeah, I don’t see a problem with a tranny in a women’s competition. More from Golf Week:
For starters, there is her startling honesty. “This is who I am. This is my life,” she said firmly. “That other person, that 245-pound SWAT cop I used to be, he’s gone. He’s not coming back.”
The rules governing transgender golf competition are precise and numerous. For Lawless, they included mandatory doctor reports, lab results within normal female limits and onsite testing.“I am a woman,” insisted Lawless, who adopted her new name from classic-movie star Lana Turner but declines to discuss her previous name. “I’ve lost muscle mass. I don’t have big guns (biceps). They give you a drug that stops you from producing testosterone. Your muscles atrophy. In about seven months, I went from 245 pounds to 175 pounds. I’ve gained back a little bit, but I feel like I don’t have any power.
Being a “normal girl’’ came with a price – despite medical insurance, she has spent $79,000 so far. Another sacrifice was golf, which she figured would never again be part of her life.
“Sure, I used to be a man. For 18 years, I was a cop for the city of Rialto, one of the most violent cities in Southern California. I worked the gang unit. I had a very tough and mean exterior. People didn’t want to mess with me.
“I had a hard exterior, but I was compassionate inside. I always let the gay guys go; they had enough drama in their lives.”

Tiger’s Caddy No Fan Of Phil Mickelson

From ESPN:
Steve Williams drew the ire of the world’s third-ranked golfer when, during an event in New Zealand, he said, “I wouldn’t call Mickelson a great player, ’cause I hate the [expletive],” according to The Guardian newspaper of Britain.
In a next-day interview with another newspaper, the New Zealand-based Star Times, Williams also said, “I don’t particularly like the guy. He pays me no respect at all and hence I don’t pay him any respect. It’s no secret we don’t get along either.”
I always thought the world of Golf was immune to this types of tiffs. Apparently not. This isn’t the first time someone had some disparaging words about Mickelson. The man is liked about as much as Hepatitis, or an extra guy in a gang-bang. He’s slowly evolving himself into the A-Rod of Golf. He’s got all the talent in the world, but he seemingly chokes at his biggest moments and is extremely unlikeable. Here’s one more gem about Mickelson from Steve Williams:
It’s also a well-known fact that Woods and American Phil “Mr Nice Guy” Mickelson are not the best of buddies. Williams told a story of Woods and Mickelson paired together during the US Open. The pair were duelling for the lead in the third round. Tiger waved to a packed grandstand seating 5000 people that bordered the 17th fairway. The crowd responded.
As a hush fell back over the crowd, a fan yelled out “Phil.” No response from Mickelson. Again the fan yelled out “Phil.” Again no response. The fan changed tack. “Hey, Mr Mickelson.”
When Mickelson turned and waved, the fan yelled out “Nice t*ts.” The crowd erupted in laughter; Mickelson went double bogey, bogey and his tournament was over.
