Today Is D-Day For Jim Rice

Sometime today, around 2pm we should find out if Jim Rice has been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. This is the 15th and final year were Rice can get in, otherwise it’s up to the veterans committee to vote him in. Along with Rice, Rickey Henderson is expected to get entrance into the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Many baseball writers believe that Rice will finally get in. His was 16 votes shy last year of gaining acceptance last year.
