Manny is being Manny again about his contract and got John Henry pissed… looks like Manny might not be Red Sox after this year if this keeps up. Also he was fined 6 figures for pushing the Sox traveling secretary for not getting enough tickets for him in the Houston series.
Big Papi went 1-4 with a home run and a walk in his first rehab assignment game with the Pawsox. He felt no pain and is excited to rejoin the team on the 24th for the Yankee series.
The Red Sox also signed first round draft pick Casey Kelly who was recruited by Tennessee to play Quarterback. He was a shortstop and pitcher in college but the Sox prefer him as a pitcher, he will be in the Gulf Coast League next week.
