001242613-300x199 Marshall Faulk Wants To Coach The St Louis Rams

This seems like the type of headline we would use on April Fool’s Day, but unfortunately that’s not the case. The St Louis Rams are set to go on an exhaustive search for their next head coach. Current interim-coach Jim Haslett will interview for the position, but is unlikely to land it. Likely assistant coaches to interview for the job are: Josh McDaniels, Leslie Frazier, Jim Schwartz and many others, but one name not excepted to interview is Marshall Faulk. Since he has no coaching experience, and if you have ever seen him on the NFL Network, your not going to mistake him for Tony Dungy. But that won’t stop him. According to Chris Mortensen, Faulk wants the job. Seriously. The Rams one-time star running back has been working for the NFL Network since he retired and has yet to embark on a coaching career. The chances of Faulk landing the job are about as good as Michael Richards playing Kunta Kinte in a Roots remake.
