0 A Reporters Sad Attempt At Humor

Almost two months ago Detroit News Columnist Rob Parker was suspended for two weeks over a story that he fabricated. Parker said that Michigan State backup quarterback, Kirk Cousins was part of a fight and would be arrested. Turns out, Cousins was with his parents the whole time. Journalism at its finest! Oh, and who can forget, he once called Hank Aaron, you know the one who hit 755 home runs a “coward”.  Now Parker who also works for ESPN, finds himself in hot water again after a question he asked Detroit Lions coach Rod Marinelli. Marinelli whose son-in-law, Joe Barry is the teams defensive coordinator has taken a lot of heat this season, after the Lions record-breaking fifteenth loss of the season, Parker asked Marinelli- “Do you wish your daughter married a better defensive coordinator”. Amazingly enough, this question hasn’t gone over too well and Parker had to issue an apology.
