Celts Offer Mikki Moore a Contract

The Celtics have offered 7 Footer Mikki Moore a contract (again). He cleared waivers today after being released by the Kings on Friday. Some reports seem to think that this was actually part of the Cassell trade the C’s made last week with the Kings. Moore played 3 games with the Celtics in 02-03 and is averaging 3pts and 3boards a game this year for the the Kings. Man the Celts are desperate. This must mean that Joe Smith isn’t an option at this point.
