Terry Bradshaw Says Matt Leinart Acted Like A Diva

Former Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart has failed to live up to expectations so far with the Arizona Cardinals. The blame for his less than stellar start has been said to be due to his off the field life style. While at USC, Leinart was a “god”, guys wanted to be him, and girls wanted to be with him, and Leinart was never one to disappoint. He loved to party, and who couldn’t blame him. He was the star player on the best team in College Football. His stardom was inevitable. That was until his career hit the NFL, so far in his three-year career he has yet to throw more than 11 touchdowns in a season, and play more than 12 games in a season. Leinart has a career 71.2 quarterback rating and failed to beat-out Kurt Warner for the Cardinals quarterback position. Much has been said about the failure of Leinart so far, but Terry Bradshaw on Fox NFL Sunday had the most revealing comments to date about Leinart:

“I’m most disappointed in Matt Leinart. I believe he should be starting but he has acted like a quarterback diva. He’s acting like he’s the star, like he earned that right. He got beat out and I’m disappointed in him for getting beat out. I think the Cardinals are sending him a message. Get in that study room and be the professional we expect you to be or I think Arizona will move on and get another new quarterback.”
