1. New England Patriots – Best Coach and best offense, the only slide is an aging defense, but it got younger with the draft.
2. Dallas Cowboys- Great offense solid defense, only thing is Wade Phillips is not the right guy for the job.
3. Indianapolis Colts- Peyton Manning enough said.
4. San Diego Chargers- They actually have a receiver this year in Chambers, with LT and Gates and a great defense.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers- They got the big receiver in Sweed and rb depth with Mendenhall, and of course the defense.
6. Jacksonville Jaguars- They got a game manager at QB, and a bruising rb tandem and tough physical defense.
7. New Orleans Saints- They have a great offense and the addition of Shockey will only make it better, also getting Vilma a stud in the middle and Sedrick Ellis in the draft helps sure up the defense.
8. Cleveland Browns- If Derek Anderson can repeat last year they have a shot at the playoffs, theygot a good offense but the defense is a little shaky in the secondary.
9. Seattle Seahawks-Consistent offense, got rid of the baby Alexander and got J. Jones and Duckett to back up Morris, they finally got a TE that Holmgren has needed, and a fast Defense that gets to the QB.
10. NY Giants- They are defending champs, with a moron at QB and a great pass rush.
11. Philadelphia Eagles- A healthy Donavan McNabb and Westbrook is a good starting point, not to mention the signing of Asante Samual, they probably have the best secondary in the league.
12. Minnesota Vikings- Great defense can stop the runand get to the Qb, traded for Jared Allen only makes it better. They got a reciver in Berrian and a great run game but they have an unproven at QB.
13. Tampa Bay Bucs- Great but aging defense, good Qb they are an average team in a bad division they should win.
14. Tennessee Titans- Hopefully Vince learned how to throw the ball, they got a good running game and by adding Crumpler provides a security blanket for Vince, also a tough physical defense.
15. Washington Redskins- Another new offense for Campbell and a rookie head coach, but have a good running game a solid defense, only thing is they are in thetoughest division in football.
16. Green Bay Packers- They got a solid defense, they found a running game in Grant and a good trio of receiversthat Rodgers can throw too.
17. Buffalo Bills- They are young scrappy team with a solid run game and a good young defense adding Stroud helps to sure up the defensive line.
18. Carolina Panthers- With Delhomme back healthy and bringing back Mushin Muhamhed at the 2 receiver will only help this offense with Steve Smith and Jonathan Stewart and DeAngleo Willams in the backfield.
19. Denver Broncos- They always have a good running game they need Cutler to stay healthy and for Brandon Marshall to stay out of cuffs.
20. Houston Texans- They got the zone running scheme with a Schaub 1 year under his belt as a starter and Andre Johnson staying healthy they should put up points, also there defense is getting better too with Colvin pass rushing with Mario Williams.
21. Arizona Cardinals- Could this finally be the year they win more than 8 games, not sure but htey got a lot of talent on the team if they can keep Boldin happy.
22. Cincinnati Bengals- They got the same explosive offense but Rudi Johnson is losing favor with the coaches and they finally drafted someone with good character in Keith Rivers not to mention he is a good linebacker too, on that terrible defense.
23. Kansas City Chiefs- LJ back healthy they had a camp with a number one QB in place and a solid draft class with Glenn Dorsey anchoring the d-line.
24. NY Jets- If you have not heard they got Bret Favre, wow, that is it, they have spent alot of money and if they don’t win Mangini and Tenenbaum will probably be out of a job.
25. Baltimore Ravens- Always have a great defense, solid running game but no Qb
26. Chicago Bears- Only because there defense is good and they got Hester returning kicks, they still have no QB. Kinda feel sorry for the fans to go through another season with REX and Orton as your QB choices.
27. Detroit Lions- Good receivers but that’s it.
28. St. Louis Rams- Got better at defense, Problems staying healthy on the o-line and no Steven Jackson reporting really hurts this team.
29. Miami Dolphins- They will win more than 1 game this year, also signing Pennington helps the offense and Ricky looking good watch out they could win 5 games.
30. San Francisco 49ers- Who knows with this team they got a good young defense but an offense that doesn’t move the ball there only threat is Gore, hopefully Martz will help this offense out.
31. Oakland Raiders- The worst run franchise in the NFL, a bad o-line a 2nd year starting Qb and a rookie Rb and a coach who is there just to collect a pay check not a good wining formula.
32. Atlanta Falcons- The post Vick era has been bad for the Falcons but it can’t get worse than last year, Matt Ryan the new franchise player and a make shift defense it will be a long year for the Falcons.

Theres one useless way to fill your afternoon Zippanut…
Go giants ! …..and sometimes ignorance is bliss
and another thing…dude…falcons…..it can get worse

I think you are really overestimating the Jaguars and Browns, like a lot of people are this year. Cleveland is the new Cincinnati (some flash on offense, but no defense and poor coaching) as far as everyone’s “sleeper” team, and Jacksonville will likely suffer a letdown similar to what happened in 2006 (after the 2005 playoff run).
I also think you are underestimating the Raiders (their defense is shaping up nicely) and Tampa Bay (their defense is the opposite of aging.)
