NESN Viewers Rejoice Over The Brewers Selection Of Manager

If you have ever watched a Red Sox broadcast on NESN, you have seen their pre and post game show. The commentators on those shows rotate between Jim Rice, Dennis Eckersley, Lou Merloni, and Ken Macha. The worst by far is Macha, who has the emotional range of Terri Schiavo. He’s basically unwatchable, and today the Milwaukee Brewers just did the Red Sox fans a favor. They made him their manager. Thankfully, the Ken Macha NESN era is over. More from ESPN:

The Milwaukee Brewersare expected to name Ken Macha as their choice to succeed interim manager Dale Sveum, two baseball sources have told ESPN. The official announcement could come later Thursday.

Macha, who managed the Oakland Athletics from 2003 to 2006, former Arizona Diamondbacksmanager Bob Brenly and former New York Mets manager Willie Randolph were considered the finalists for the job.
