I’d Take Those Sloppy Seconds

Here is Elisha Cuthbert, with her latest NHL boyfriend Dion Phaneuf. After Sean Avery’s latest comments about Phaneuf taking his “sloppy seconds”, the NHL has today suspended Avery until Tuesday. For the most part sloppy seconds aren’t the best thing, but, who am I kidding, I’ll take it anytime, especially when they’re coming from Elisha Cuthbert. Although, I may have a difficult time sleeping with the daughter of Jack Bauer. The remarks that Avery made, were  to the wrong guy. Phaneuf is one of the toughest and most physical defensemen in the NHL. He just might be Jack Bauer with a stick. The next time the Dallas Stars meet-up with the Calgary Flames isn’t until February 3rd, but I’m sure Phaneuf won’t forget about the comments that Avery made. More from ESPN:

“I’m really happy to be back in Calgary; I love Canada,” the Ontario native said. “I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about, but enjoy the game tonight.” He then walked out of the locker room.

Avery’s ex-girlfriend, actress Elisha Cuthbert of the television show “24″ and the movie “Old School,” is dating Calgary defenseman Dion Phaneuf; she had been romantically linked to Mike Komisarek of the Montreal Canadiens. Avery also dated Rachel Hunter, the former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model and actress who is now the girlfriend of Los Angeles Kings center Jarret Stoll.
