Favre To The Jets ?

Will they just get this over already. The Brett Favre talk on ESPN is driving people insane. The nation’s leader in sports, has devoted what seems 15 reporters to cover the Favre fiasco at a much detailed length. No comes word ( I have my fingers crossed) that Jets and the Packers are in “serious discussions” over Favre to the J-E-T-S JETS. ESPN’s Kevin Seifert:

Trade rumors linking the New York Jets to Brett Favre aren’t dead.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette is reporting the Jets “are in serious talkswith the Green Bay Packers” and Favre’s agent, James “Bus” Cook.

The story, attributing the inside info to an unnamed source, stated “the extent of Cook’s talks with the Jets means Favre at least is considering playing for them.”

If true, it also would mean 10 practices into camp the Jets aren’t convinced they can win with either Chad Pennington or Kellen Clemens.

The report comes on the heels of a practice Jets coach Eric Mangini called “a joke.”

This would be my wish if ESPN granted me a Make-A-Wish. Favre to the Jets would be a match made in heaven, a team and player that I deeply despise. Not to mention if it failed, it would likely mean the end of the Mangini Era in New York. The Jets are in desperate need to make the playoffs this year, and just may do whatever possible to acquire the gunslinger. Especially after the amount of money the Jetsspent in the offseason. I wanna see Favre tossing interceptions in Buffalo in December. I pray the Jets make this happen.
