Manny Mania Hitting Los Angeles

The city of Angels is now fully wrapped up in Manny Mania. After hitting his sixth home run the other night its clear that Ramirez is officially en fuego. Now 16 games into his Dodgers career Ramirez is hitting .424 with 21 RBI’s and a mind-boggling 1.294 OPS. Maybe now Dodger fans will show up early and stay for the whole game. But I doubt it. After disappointing many by cutting and inch or maybe two off of his dreadlocks, Dodger fans are now wearing Manny wigs. Who says LA isn’t a Baseball town ? What a sad image of 3 business men and a prostitute, all in their 40’s wearing a wig of Manny Ramirez’s hair. This is why Manny is going to relish in LA. They do not care. They will love everything he does, and who by the way would care right now anyways with the performance he is putting on ? The trade of Ramirez to the Dodgers has catapulted them into a chance at the playoffs and makes Ned Colletti look like a genius. Now the only question is will Ramirez get his $100 Million ?
